I have to say it. I was disgusted with Connie Chung's interviewwith U.S. Rep. Gary Condit. I squirmed. I winced. And 24 hourslater, I still have a visceral reaction to Chung's needle on a brokenrecord of constant and never ending queries about whether Condit hadan affair with Chandra Levy.
It's pretty obvious Condit did, or he would have said "No" . . .instead of opting for a much rehearsed reason.
What was Chung's next question going to be? Was the sex any good?
Where was the humanity?
This guy hasn't been charged with anything. He hasn't been accusedof Levy's murder. My God, what is happening to us?
