NSW: Skeletal remains found near beach
SYDNEY, Aug 26 AAP - Detectives from Grafton will continue their investigation todayafter the discovery of human bones in a northern NSW beach reserve at the weekend.
The skeletal remains discovered in the Iluka Rainforest Nature Reserve on the NSW northcoast were discovered on Sunday morning, and are believed to have belonged to a male,investigators believe.
"It is anticipated the forensic examination will take some time, and unfortunately,there will be no quick answers for investigating police," Detective Chief Inspector JasonBreton said.
"At this time, it is too early to determine how or when this person died," he said.
The remains are in the process of being moved to Sydney for forensic examination, he said.
